Capital Wizard

Refund Policy

Effective date: September 15, 2026

This policy explains what you can pay for in Capital Wizard, when we give money back, how to ask, and how long it takes. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

1. What You Can Pay For

There are exactly two things to pay for in Capital Wizard, and they work differently — so they are refunded differently:

Current rates are published on our pricing section. This policy covers both, and nothing else — Capital Wizard sells no other products.

While Capital Wizard is in beta, the subscription is not being charged. Billing begins when the beta ends, and we will say so before it does. Everything below describes what happens to a charge whenever one is made — and AI credit is charged today, so the credit rules below already apply.

2. The First Month Is Free

Every account's first month of the subscription is free, with full access to every feature and no card required. Nothing is charged automatically when that month ends — you decide whether to continue.

3. Subscription Refunds

Within 14 days of your first charge — we refund it in full, for any reason or none. Tell us and the subscription is cancelled and the whole amount returned.

A renewal you did not mean to pay — write to us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full and stop the subscription. Access to paid features ends when the refund is made.

Cancelling — you can cancel at any time. The subscription stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for and then simply does not renew. We do not prorate a partial month beyond the rule above.

Removing a space or a person mid-month — your bill drops from the next month. We do not refund part of the month already paid for.

4. AI Credit Refunds

Unused credit is refundable in full, at any time. We return it to the original payment method where we can, or leave it on your account as credit if you prefer.

Credit already spent is not refundable. A request that has run has already been paid for on your behalf to the model provider. Two exceptions, both of which we put back on your balance as a Refund entry on your credit statement in Settings → Billing:

The welcome credit is a gift, not a purchase. The credit every new account is given has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and is not refundable. Credit you have paid for does not expire; credit is not transferable between accounts.

If you use your own provider key, nothing is drawn from your balance and nothing is charged by us — that provider bills you directly, and there is nothing here for us to refund.

5. Duplicate, Failed or Incorrect Charges

If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you never had, tell us. We refund it in full as soon as we have confirmed it — this is a mistake to correct, not a request to consider.

6. If the Service Is Unavailable

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and brief maintenance windows are part of running a service. If Capital Wizard is unavailable for a prolonged period within a month you have paid for, write to us and we will credit or refund that month.

7. Purchases Made Through the App Store or Google Play

Capital Wizard's mobile apps are a shell around the same web application, and purchases are not currently sold through Apple or Google. If that ever changes, a purchase made through the App Store or Google Play is billed by Apple or Google under their own terms and can only be refunded by them — through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Google Play order history. We will help where we can, but the refund is theirs to make.

8. How to Ask for a Refund

Email support@capital-wizard.com from the address on the account, or write to us from our support page. Please include:

We reply within 2 business days. Where a refund is due we issue it within 5 business days of agreeing it. How long it then takes to appear is your bank's or card issuer's to decide — usually 5 to 10 business days.

9. Cancelling Is Not Deleting

Cancelling a subscription stops the billing and leaves your data where it is. Deleting your account is a separate act and removes everything permanently within 30 days — see section 10 of our Terms of Service and section 7 of our Privacy Policy.

Deleting an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund of time already used, and it does not take away a refund this policy already gives you.

10. Chargebacks

Please write to us before asking your bank to reverse a charge. A chargeback takes weeks to resolve and the account is usually suspended while the bank decides — where an email to us is normally settled the same day. We have never refused a refund this policy covers.

11. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, it wins.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the app or sending you an email. The version that applies to a charge is the one published on the day the charge was made.
